Connecting Point is pleased to announce the launch of Nevada County’s new Volunteer Hub.
The Volunteer Hub is a free service to connect Nevada County residents of all ages to volunteer opportunities in our community.
The Volunteer Hub website makes it easy for community members to find volunteer opportunities at local organizations and connect to them directly. Visitors to the Volunteer Hub can search by date, location, interest, or browse the latest featured opportunities.
For local organizations, the Volunteer Hub is a great way to advertise your volunteer opportunities and gain exposure in the community. You’ll be able to manage volunteers, track and report attendance, and communicate quickly with your volunteer pool. And it’s free. Learn more about the benefits of partnering with us or get started by registering your organization.
The Volunteer Hub was created in partnership with the County of Nevada to fill the gap left by the RSVP program. The aim is to give local nonprofits, schools and public agencies a valuable tool to find volunteers who will help them meet their goals. We hope the Volunteer Hub will be a one-stop-shop for volunteerism is our community.
Visit the Volunteer Hub website to search for volunteer opportunities to match your schedule or interests, sign up to volunteer for your favorite organizations, or browse upcoming opportunities to connect to your cause. Join us today!
