We receive funding to provide the following specialized programs.

Coordinated Entry

Coordinated Entry is a single entry point to ensure all people in Nevada County that are experiencing a housing need have access to the community’s housing and homeless assistance resources and are quickly screened, referred, and connected to housing service options, including financial/rental assistance, voluntary supportive services, and additional resources based on their self-identified needs, strengths, and goals.

Market Money

The Market Money program encourages CalFresh participants to spend more of their EBT dollars on fresh fruits and vegetables at local farmers’ markets. CalFresh participants receive a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $30, on EBT dollars spent at the market. Funded by the Nevada County Department of Social Services.

Senior Assistance Line

SAL is a simple, user-friendly entry point for Nevada County residents aged 60 and over to connect with community programs and services. Funded by Agency on Aging Area 4.

Transportation Assistance

The Transportation Information & Assistance program connects community members to existing transportation resources. Our call specialists will help you find the best transportation option for your situation and assist you in planning your trip. Go to our Transportation page for links to bus schedules and routes, online tools, apps, and more. Funded by Caltrans.
